Description

Planar Lightwave Circuit (PLC) splitter is a type of optical power management device that is fabricated using silica optical waveguide technology. It features small size, high reliability, wide operating wavelength range and good channel-to-channel uniformity, and is widely used in PON networks to realize optical signal power splitting.

Features:

  • 100% performance tested for insertion loss, return loss and final mechanical inspection
  • Optical component configuration uses devices that are compliant to Telcordia GR-1221/1209-CORE
  • Ruggedized jacket material of input and output legs provide superior flexibility in temperatures ranging from 40°C to 85°C
  • Splitters can be used in: FDH 288, 432
  • Conventional connector is SC/APC, optional connector: SC/UPC, LC/APC, LC/UPC
  • High uniformity, Low insertion loss, Compact, small size, High reliability and stability
